Blue and Gold Celebration - The Force is Strong!

Posted on Feb 13 2016 - 9:04pm

Get reading for this year's Blue and Gold Celebration on Friday, February 26th from 6-7:30 PM.  We will celebrate our Pack's 20th Anniversary with a Star Wars' themed party!  We will be honoring our volunteers, past Cubmasters, celebrating boys' advancements, and saying farewell to our Ninjas at their final Blue and Gold. We will also have the annual Friends of Scouting Fundraising campaign. Each family is asked to bring one appetizer or salad to share - have your son help with the preparation!  The pack will provide pizza, drinks, and dessert. Please RSVP on the website so we can order enough food. If you are able to lend a hand to help us set up the MP Room, please email Wendy (wwmcdonald@hotmail.com) or Louise (arias.louise@gmail.com) - we'd love your help!

Scouting For Food - 3/6/16 - 10 AM-4 PM

Posted on Feb 13 2016 - 9:01pm

Scouting for Food!  Save the date! On Sunday March 6 from 10AM to 4PM, Pack 281 will hold its 22nd annual "Scouting for Food" event. Joining us will be Scouts from other units as we knock on doors in Gold River collecting non perishable food items that will be donated to the Cordova Food Locker. The food locker serves homeless and needy families in the area and is greatly appreciative of the contribution the pack makes to the community. Scouts are asked to be in Class A uniforms and it is helpful if they carry a reusable bag to fill. They can volunteer a couple of hours or as many hours as they can. Questions?
